It deserved a bit more than I initially gave it, as it still lives vividly in my mind. The screen shot of Google Earth burns in my brain...JKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09321659985625278675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20110414.post-58321363908023610632013-05-08T19:42:52.579-10:002013-05-08T19:42:52.579-10:00Holly crap, the SkyGod handle may be passing to JK...Holly crap, the SkyGod handle may be passing to JK soon. I was reading this story, half way through I heard his voice in the living room. Now, I got the whole story first hand with facial expressions. This guy has BIG Balls. To do this alone and low in some places......makes Doug smile I am sure. AlanC needs to get back in the mix as JK's wing man. What a duo that would be for NAN exploration.

Great Write up would like to say I would have followed you but I ain't got those kinda nads.

You keep it up and you will see Doug H. on your wing.

Oh my god, its Time to Fly, follow JK if you dare, Bring extra Gear cause it might be a long nite's Go!

JJ Jameson, very happy.Thomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07508629374134042936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20110414.post-798970128308056732013-05-08T16:00:20.492-10:002013-05-08T16:00:20.492-10:00I wrote this in a hurry, so didn't have time t...I wrote this in a hurry, so didn't have time to research the title. As I feared, it had been used before (twice). It was too trite not to be! I changed it to keep them all straight. - Alex, I don't think one good flight out west makes me a "guru".There is still so much to know that I was only introduced to out there. I think that title remains for Doug, and for a long time to come. I emailed hime the track log right away. - Wish I had my old pal Alan out there with me. We tried to make something like this happen together on a number of days, but the wx just didn't let it. Everyone would have had big flights yesterday, with a little push and some gung-ho. -- Have to say today was spend all knotted up. I had a bad case of post-flight butterflies. Still do. I'm on my second scotch after getting home from work. It's strange to have the wobbly knees AFTER the flight. I hope someone else can bag a big flight with these conditions. Go get 'um, so we can drink together and talk story!JKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09321659985625278675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20110414.post-19206664410719264732013-05-08T08:22:07.850-10:002013-05-08T08:22:07.850-10:00Sick flight JK! With that flight you have now elected yourself the new guru of the west side. That position has been vacant for too long! In hindsight, of course I wish I had mustered the energy to join you on this day, but now at least I have the bar set nice and high to chase for days or years to come!
