HPA Spring Equinox Membership Meeting and Party: Saturday 3/21/2026 6pm

 

Saturday, 3/21/2026, 6pm will be our next meeting of the Hawaii Paragliding Association at Pete "Reaper" Michelmore's party pad at 660 Palawiki St. in Kailua.

Come get together with fellow flyers, share some food and drink. I know our flying options have been limited lately, but enjoy a little fly chatter with the gang!

Pete requests for offering up his house are no kids and no cooking. No meat floppers at the grill, cook it and bring it. 

Things have been changing with flying sites as far as the USHPA insurance goes. Kahana is still unchanged. Makapuu is fully under the Hawaii Hang Glider Association, but the paragliders are included. To avoid another insurance premium.

It is important to sign both waivers, HPA and HHA and pay our increased club dues of $100, to cover the insurance payments we have already made. I know for some of you it seems like a lot, but in 2026 it is the cost to go fly with insurance at our flying sites.

If you are unable to attend, I would suggest signing the current waivers and paying dues online.
