Jeff ended a long break from cross country flying yesterday, joining me, Jim and Steve for an epic tour of the mythical city in the clouds four grand above Sacred Falls. I think we should name that city after him in honor of his return to those familiar airways surrounding Kahana.
Later I followed him downrange and he almost made it to the golf course, but he played it safe with a landing at Malaekahana, still his farthest distance from Kahana. I landed at the golf course and found five balls where I landed. Now that's a lot of balls. I have posted Jeff's video above, and mine is below.

Thanks Alex!! Such a sweet day! Probably stuck at home today, so will try to get a video up by tonight.
Thanks for the short but sweet recap! I was wondering what I had missed -- good way to make me jealous and inspire me to get my chores done. Hope to join you all up there again someday.
Wow 4k oveer sacred falls. Good job. Internet is sparse up here but I am trying to recap a few days events but had to sneak a peak at what you all have been up to.
Nice one Jeff. Thanks for the story Alex. I am enjoying my coffee even more here at the Black Bird Bakery.

Just for fun put my track on Leonardo here: http://www.paraglidingforum.com/leonardo/flight/650064
Steve and I only went up to 3K but that was still pretty amazing. Went on glide from Punalu'u to BYU. Finally we're getting some of those sweet summer flying days that seem to be sparser this year. Sure is nice!
Wow nice videos.
You guys should splice this together especially the hi five on launch both perspectives cool.
Ok watched all of Alex's. I am glad you guys did a safety meeting after that and cleaned your lenses. HMMMMMMM
Thom, you know I'm all about safety. Sometimes that entails a meeting on the subject after a particularly interesting flight. :-)
Alex - did you smirk at my video title?? :-p
Cracked me up. I especially love the title font, can't quite tell if it's clouds or smoke, which is awesome! Where there's smoke there's fliers.
