Nanakuli No Ka Oi

Leo was right: November really is the best month. In the first three days of this month, I've flown a couple of my best flights ever across the length of both mountain ranges. Those are some classic wintertime conditions. Today we had a dozen pilots out at Nanakuli, including a few visitors. Everyone did a great job battling the bullet thermals and the low inversion. I realized a dream flight by flying to Yokohama Bay, but I was disappointed to find there was no grass there, so I flew back to land at Kea'au Beach Park on the edge of Makaha.

Roll call: me, Kauai Joe and Courtney, Utah James, Duck, Woody, Bill, Jim, Doug, Frank, Frosty, McStalker.

Congrats on the Yokohama tag.

Thanks for the story, but you know what Jorge will say about this!

Nice flight as usual Alex - one of these days I have to start collecting balls at Kahuku golf course, then maybe I'll have something in my sack to motivate me to folllow you. The park you landed in is really called Kea'au Beach Park.
