A resident who lives near the upper cul-de-sac warned pilots both yesterday and today that he would call the police if we continue to land in the usual bomb-out field below Koko Crater.
The developer of the subdivision and the homeowners association have fenced it off and posted warning signs because of liability concerns about unfinished contruction materials such as rebar. For the time being, please don't launch Koko if there's any chance of bombing out - that means the wind needs to be strong enough and reasonably straight into the hill. Also, for anyone who is unaware, please do not soar over the firing range on the SSW side of the crater - the police made it very clear that they don't want us above their practice area. Thanks for your cooperation.
