The grass is always greener on the other side of the bay. So that's where Gaza and I flew today, scoring a double bay crossing to Waiahole on our first normal trade wind day in weeks. Eighteen pilots ventured to Kahana to soak up the sunshine and trade showers. The early birds got the best worms today, while the late shift was left dodging several lines of squalls. We finished with an impromptu party at Surfing Tacos in Hauula.
Thanks to Jim for the cold beverages, thanks to Thom for the grape juice, and thanks to Sandy for the retrieve from Waiahole.
Roll call: Harvey, Woody, Eric, me, BC Kris, Brian, Gaza, Thom, Ray, Sandy, Berndt, Jeff, Jim, Doug, Roland, Carolyn, Howie, and Duck.
