Not Too Strong for XC

Fifteen pilots braved a brisk day at Kahana. The wind was a bit strong but I had high hopes for an XC flight. Thankfully those hopes were rewarded. New local pilot James was here for only one day and we scored a fun XC flight to Punaluu and back before he had to land and head to the airport. I think he successfully worked the lowest return line from Punaluu I've ever seen. On an easterly day in an old EN-B. Can't wait til he comes back to play with us some more in September. Afterwards I headed to Kaaawa and back before the squalls rolled in. An unlikely but great XC day! Roll call: Sebastian, Calgary Simon, Jonathan, George, Joe, Woody, Bonnie, Gaza, me, Thom, James, McStalker, Solar Jeff, Harvey, Airborne Ken.
