A handful of die hard northsiders savored a surprise late afternoon session of sweet air and spectacular cloudscapes close to home. Clouds were quite low, but scattered widely enough to allow a couple of us to navigate safely to the familiar islet of Mokolii before returning to watch the sun slip behind the ridge at Punaluu. Duck was excited to score his first cross country trip in a long time, and I was happy to follow and soak up the views.
